✨ Celebrating St Brigid ✨

✝️Ahead of the Feast of St Brigid on Sunday, our Key Stage 2 children learned about the life of this inspiring Irish saint. They explored the traditions associated with St Brigid before making their own St Brigid’s crosses.

🤝The pupils took great pride in their creations and showed wonderful teamwork as they supported one another with the weaving.

🌟Thank you to the McAuley family for kindly providing the rushes and to Mrs McCollam for giving her time to teach the children this special tradition.

💚 It was a lovely way to connect learning with heritage as we prepare for the feast day.
