🌟 Children’s Mental Health Week: Celebrating This Is My Place 🌟

The pupils took part in a range of Mental Health and Wellbeing activities as we marked Children’s Mental Health Week 2026.

🎥Following this year’s theme, “This Is My Place,” the children explored what it means to belong to a community with deep roots. We watched archive footage of Glenann PS featured on the BBC Ulster in Focus programme at the weekend, sparking lovely conversations about being part of a school shaped by generations of learners, teachers and families.

🌿 We took a refreshing walk through scenic Glenann, spotting early signs of spring in the snowdrops and daffodils.

🍓 Back at school, the children tucked into a healthy breakfast and got creative with their toast and fruit designs.

🎵 We rounded off the morning with energetic Zumba led by Miss McBride — lots of smiles and fun.

💛 A lovely way to celebrate This Is My Place and the strong sense of belonging in our school community.
