We had a fantastic Friday evening on our fundraising boat trip, taking in the stunning sights along the coastline from Kinbane to Carrick-a-Rede. Our group enjoyed beautiful views of Rathlin Island and Fairhead, along with Kinbane Castle, the famous Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, the fisherman's cottage, spectacular sea caves, the Smugglers Cave and the Mermaid’s Waterfall.
The rain made an appearance, but it certainly didn’t dampen the fun or the spirit of the group!
A huge thank you to everyone who bought tickets, made donations or joined us on the night. Thanks to your generosity, we raised an amazing £1160, which will support our pupils by providing valuable resources and learning opportunities.
Our sincere thanks to Charles and Dawn from Kintra Boat Tours for their incredible generosity — every penny from the trip goes straight back to our school.
We are also very grateful to Francis Close for organising the event and guiding us along the way, still trying to educate us all!
