๐ŸŽ„ P6 & 7 Getting into the Christmas Spirit ๐ŸŽ„

18th Dec 2025
๐ŸŽ„ Primary 6 and 7 have been busy embracing the festive season with a range of creative Christmas-themed activities.

โ„๏ธ To make their 3D snowflakes, the pupils explored symmetry and patterns, using their mathematical knowledge to design and assemble beautifully detailed creations.

โœจAs part of their Grow in Love work, the children learned about the Advent wreath, creating their own while discussing the symbolism of each part and what it represents during the Advent season.

๐ŸŽจWhen designing their Christmas trees, the pupils studied the colour wheel, considering warm and cool colours and experimenting with combinations that either blended well together or stood out boldly.

โœ๏ธP6 & 7 also completed an instructional writing task titled “How to Steal Christmas.” They focused on making their work eye catching, using clear steps and checklists to guide the reader through their imaginative instructions.
