Our Primary 3 and 4 pupils had a wonderful time celebrating Shrove Tuesday with delicious pancakes and a selection of toppings. There were lots of happy faces as everyone enjoyed choosing what to put on their pancakes and, of course, eating them!
Linking to their learning, the children carried out a survey to discover the most popular topping. They recorded their findings using tally charts and then turned this information into bar charts.
The pupils talked about what their bar charts showed and used the information to answer questions about their choices.
A tasty Tuesday treat that made numeracy even more enjoyable!
