Key Stage 2 have been preparing for the season of Lent. They explored the three Lent traditions of Prayer, Fasting and Almsgiving before making their Lenten promises. The children created Ash Wednesday portraits which displayed their understanding of the origin of the ashes and the use of the liturgical colour purple during the Lenten season.
